Jacob Junior Turner, 55

Timberville

            Jacob Junior Turner, 55, a resident of Timberville, passed away on January 1, 2012 at his home.

            Mr. Turner was born on July 20, 1956 in Rockingham County and was the son of the late Jacob Silas and Lena Ford Turner.  He was formerly employed at Food Lion.

            On May 2, 1989 he married the former Brenda Dove who preceded him in death on May 16, 2011.

            Surviving are six children, Karin M. King and husband David, Jacob J. Turner and wife Sara, James A. Turner and wife Blanka, Chris A. Turner and companion Alecia Stout, Carson S. Turner, Eric Southerly and wife Jennifer; one brother; four sisters, ten grandchildren, Hayley, Makenzie, and Timothy King, Gage, Constance, River, and Scotlyn Turner, Dakota, Damion and Jakey, Evers.

            A friend and family gathering will be held on Saturday afternoon, January 7, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at the Mt. Clinton Church of God.

            The body was cremated.
